What is OSPIRG?

Oregon Students Public Interest Research Group (OSPIRG) 

OSPIRG is a student run statewide group that is part of a nation wide group of PIRG's in other states that works to educate and protect the public. Elected student board members pick the issues that the organization will work on and hire professional staff to research, organize, and lobby for those issues on behalf of students. OSPIRG does not accept corporate donations.

  • Equality in Representation
  • Hunger and Homelessness
  • Textbook Prices

  • Student Rights Protection
  • Banking Reform
If you would like to start a new campaign or help out on a campaign come on by the OSPIRG office in the basement of the Center Building to receive free leadership training and get involved! Or call OSPIRG at 541-463-5166.
