What do I do if I'm having problems with myLane?
Problems with myLane
I can't access the myLane Website: Make sure you have entered the URL correctly, it should exactly match the image below. The site may also be down between 12:00am and 4:00am daily for maintenance, as well as other times for updates.
I don't know my User ID (L number): If you do not have an L number, learn how to obtain one here.
If you have an L number but you forgot it, you have two options:
- Go to myLane's Main Page and click on the link "Having problems logging in? Click here" located just below the Password box.
- Contact Student Help Desk (SHeD)
Make sure you enter your complete L number (L plus eight digits, i.e. L00123456) to avoid "Invalid Login" errors.
I don't know my Password/Passphrase: If this is your first time logging into myLane, your Password/Passphrase is a temporary 12 character password that was emailed to the email address you have on file with Lane. If you forgot your Password, go to myLane's Main Page and click on the link "Having problems logging in? Click here" located just below the Password box.
